Enlighten Designs collaborates with Microsoft and The Associated Press to tell more data stories
12 February 2018
Enlighten Designs is collaborating with Microsoft to support international news agency The Associated Press (The AP) in creating and delivering localised interactive data visualisations to member news organisations.
Details about our exciting collaboration were covered in an article featured in The New Zealand Herald.
Since that story was released, we’ve gone on to successfully deliver more live election events, with the latest being the December 12th Alabama Senate special elections. Three AP member outlets embedded the election map on their sites with a total potential reach of nearly a million readers from the Boston Globe, WTOP-FM andWVTM-TV. According to Microsoft’s internal Power BI publish to web (P2W) reporting, the election report received hundreds of thousands of views across the three sites during the critical election period.
We’re excited to be working with one of the world’s largest and most trusted news agencies to increase the adoption of relevant data storytelling in an impactful way.
